Introduction

CineDesign ("we", "us", "our") operates the Knuckle PowerPack mobile application. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

What We Collect

We collect minimal data to operate the service:

• Device location — Your device's GPS coordinates are sent to our server when you pair with a Knuckle device via Bluetooth. This is used to track the physical location of our rental equipment.
• Bluetooth device identifiers — The BLE hardware addresses of nearby Knuckle devices are sent to our server to identify registered equipment.

What We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any personal information.
• We do not create user accounts.
• We do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.
• We do not share any data with third parties.

How We Use the Data

• Location data is used solely to track the physical location of CineDesign rental equipment. It is stored on our servers in Canada.
• Bluetooth identifiers are used to match nearby devices against our registered fleet of Knuckle power systems.

Data Retention

Connection logs (device location and timestamp) are retained indefinitely for equipment tracking purposes. No personal information is associated with these logs.

Data Storage

All data is stored on servers located in Canada and is subject to Canadian privacy laws, including PIPEDA and Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).

Bluetooth and Location Permissions

The app requires Bluetooth permission to communicate with Knuckle devices. Location permission is required by the operating system to scan for Bluetooth devices, and is also used to log equipment location when pairing. You may deny location permission, but Bluetooth scanning may not function on some devices.

Children's Privacy

The app is a professional tool for equipment rental. We do not knowingly collect data from children, nor do we collect personal data from anyone.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
